FC-01 is a functional carbon-based formaldehyde purification material developed for air purifiers, fresh air systems, automotive filtration modules and industrial formaldehyde gas treatment.
The product uses modified bamboo-based activated carbon as a porous carrier and combines it with catalytic active components. Its high surface area and developed pore structure rapidly adsorb formaldehyde, while the active sites continuously catalyze its decomposition at room temperature.
FC-01 provides 24h formaldehyde removal ≥95%, with continuous purification reaching ≥99%, a BET surface area of ≥1100 m²/g, and a service life of 6 months or more. Compared with conventional adsorption-only activated carbon, it helps reduce formaldehyde re-release after adsorption saturation and is better suited for long-term purification systems.
Conventional activated carbon mainly removes formaldehyde by physical adsorption, so its capacity is limited by pore saturation.
